D & G Bakery was voted best bakery in Shoshone County in 2010 and 2011.

We are a family owned business.

We opened on July 18, 2009 with just a small assortment of donuts, fresh baked breads and a coffee pot. We have slowly evolved to include sandwiches, more specialty breads, cakes, and espresso. We now also have Fruit Arrangements (Blossoms) started 4/1/2012.

Owners: Anne Alexander and Dawn Alexander They are Mother n law and Daughter n law.

Anne was a manager at phone company before she took early retirement and moved to Idaho. Growing up in a Italian family she learned how to make great breads from scratch.

Dawn is a hair dresser who was taught how to make cakes at an early age by her grandmother.

Both was always told they should open their own shop. When an bakery shop closed all of a sudden, they took the opportunity to open a bakery together. Teaching each other all they know they make a great team.
